These are the fundamental questions of life that we all ask at some point...but where do you go to find the answers? Google? Facebook comments?
Alpha is the place to ask those questions and get real, actual answers. It's the journey of a lifetime, literally, because we take eight weeks to break down all of life's biggest questions and search together for answers using science, history, and the Bible. And the best part? We do it together, in person, which means we can wrestle with what all of this means and how it affects our lives practically.
After going through Alpha, people often tell us, "Why did no one ever teach me this?!"
Well, now we are. Join us at Alpha!
JOIN OUR NEXT SESSION
Alpha is an eight-week journey that takes place regularly at St. Columba. We meet on Sunday evenings for dinner, and then watch a video tackling one of life's biggest questions - does God exist (and is there actual evidence outside of faith?), what is my purpose, etc. Then, we gather together in small groups to discuss what we've learned, what is truth, and how to apply it.
Because if all of this is true, everything changes.
The most important principle? There is truly no judgment, no pressure, and no stupid questions. This is the place to wrestle with and even challenge everything you've ever been taught about God.
And in that wrestling, many of our participants find that they not only come to know God better - they also come to discover who they are.
Alpha is a series of weekly sessions to explore life and the Christian faith in a friendly, open and informal environment. No pressure. No follow-up. No charge. And dinner is included!
You Had Me At Dinner
Maybe you feel like you have everything, but still feel empty. Maybe in this crazy,
busy world, you’re just seeking some peace in your life. Maybe you’re seeking something bigger than yourself. Maybe you’re feeling a desire to deepen your faith life or make church a more meaningful experience. Maybe you want to meet new people who are also interested in the Christian faith.
If so, then Alpha is for you!
YEP, THAT'S ME!
Please join us and consider who you can invite to Alpha. Do you know friends or family who have been away from Church or are seeking answers to their faith questions? Alpha can help ignite their faith, and yours! Send them to stcolumbaonline.org/Alpha to learn more and register.
You're welcome to attend with a friend even if you've already been to Alpha! Sometimes knowing a familiar face can be reassuring.
