Altar Servers

How fitting that some of the only lay people allowed on the altar during Mass are children and teens - those so close to Jesus' heart! We invite children and teens between 5th-12th grade to consider becoming an altar server. Altar servers assist the priest and deacons during Mass by carrying the cross and candles, preparing the altar for the Liturgy of the Eucharist, and more. It is a deeply important ministry and special privilege that enables our preteens and teens to come to understand the Mass better, discern their vocation, and of course, get to know Christ better by serving Him in the sacrifice of the Mass.
