Deacon Warren Testa and Mary Walsh were awarded medals of honor for their generous years of service as catechists at St. Columba School of Religion. They have shaped the hearts and souls of young people and adults in the RCIA for a quarter of a century or more. They have helped to make us the vibrant community of faith that we are!
(See pictures below.)
The following catechists have completed 40 hours of Level I preparatory courses and/or 36 hours of Level II certification. They did this in an effort to grow in their knowledge and understanding of the faith and in their desire to teach the young people of our parish more effectively. Fr. Michael McLoughlin, our pastor, and Sr. Marie Pappas, C.R., Director of Religious Education celebrated these catechists with joy. Their excellence and dedication helps us to be a faith-filled, vibrant community who Love God and Serve Others!
