Whether you're new to the area, searching for a new faith community, or just passing through, welcome to St. Columba!
Whatever story brought you here, please know first and foremost that you are seen and loved, by God and by us. Please don't let past negative experiences, shame, or fear of judgment keep you away. What you'll find here at St. Columba is special: Our community is dynamic and active not because we're a group of people who have it all figured out, but because we're a group of people willing to figure it out together.
The best way to experience our community? Just show up. We'd truly love for you to join us, just as you are, wherever you're at in life and faith.
Trust us, once you're here...you'll get what we mean about this place.

We're glad you're considering coming back! We're not here to judge you. We believe the Mass is a sacred meal, and we’ve kept a place at the table for you, hoping that you would return. Our joy will be complete when you come back home!
Start with a fresh slate
We're so sorry you feel the Church isn't supporting you or a loved one. Or perhaps you feel that the Church is hypocritical because of the actions of some of its leaders. Let's talk about what the Church teaches and why, how the actions of some Church leaders has been deeply wrong and not representative of what we believe, and help you reconnect with the Father who loves you so much.
Speak to a Priest
Wonderful! Our parishioners love having kids at Mass (seriously, our older parishioners get excited when a young family sits in front of them). No worries if they're loud or wiggly - it makes us so joyful to have you with us!
P.S. Bathrooms are located in the narthex. The one on the left has a changing table.
You will soon! If you want to make friends, this is the place to be. Start by saying hello to the people next to you at Mass, or consider joining one of our ministries or small groups! And definitely make sure you stop by our Hospitality Sundays, hosted every first Sunday of the month after the 7:30 am, 9 am, and 10:30 am Masses.

Who doesn't? Trust us, you're joining a whole bunch of people with a whole bunch of messy pasts. The good news? We worship a God who sees our messy pasts and uses that as part of our future story - and loves us through it all.
This is the place to be to learn! We have so many resources for you to grow in your faith, but that's one of the main reasons to come to church - to learn!
We also have a number of resources you can use for self-study, available here.
Questions are a good thing - they show you're not just leaving your faith on the back burner, but really trying to live it and understand. Whether you're struggling with a particular Church teaching or faith in general, we are a safe place to ask those questions and get answers you can actually trust.
In other words? Yes. You are welcome here. No matter what.
Let's make it official.
