Every human life is valuable! As Catholics, we truly believe this, but in today’s society, for many this is an open question. Thus, our mission as a ministry is to advocate and educate as Pope St. John Paul II called us to be: "people of life and for life."
Our Respect Life Ministry believes that every life is valuable and the unborn, who have no voice, need advocates. We do this by providing a pro-life witness at local and community events, from community parades to the national March for Life. At the local level, we also organize prayer opportunities to pray for an end to abortion, such as our tri-parish Life Chains, and participate in local 40 Days for Life events.
Our ministry is a tri-parish ministry (St. Columba, St. Denis, and St. Kateri Tekakwitha), which means there is a lot do! We are an active group, so please keep an eye out in the bulletin and Flocknote for our upcoming events.
